I failed my test today. When can I sit my test again?

A question posed by Liam who was with another driving school.

Liam : I have taken a driving test twice and have failed again today with 7 points. I am interested in booking on the 11 hour intense course, how soon could I book this and when would I take the test?

CarCaptain : Seeing as you failed your driving test today, you will need, according to the DSA regulations to observe a 10 day cooling off period before you can  sit your driving test again. As the 10 days have to be counted as working days it effectively means that you will only be able to sit your driving test 13 to 14 days from the day that you sat your driving test.

We should be able to arrange your course and driving test to take place directly at the end of the cooling off period. We are allowed to book your test as long as we observe the cooling off period.

If you provide us with the necessary information along with a deposit of £77.00 we will immediately commence making all the necessary arrangements.
