I have been trying to get my licence for 2 years before I came across CarCaptain.  I have failed a couple of tests and have lost my confidence in driving. Having 2h lessons every week for months did not really get me up to a standard needed for the test and driving in Central and very congested areas of London was really not enjoyable at all and most importantly did not help in building up confidence. I then started thinking of an intensive course outside of Central London and have started searching for such course providers and came across CarCaptain The information provided on the website and the arguments put forward in favour of doing an intensive course in nice areas of suburban London really convinced me. I gave them a call and spoke to one of the instructors (Chris) – after this conversation I really was sure I wanted to do the course with them. Chris understood immediately what my problem was and I was convinced he will be able to help and he did a great job!

Within just a week of lessons with Chris I took a test and passed. I still cannot believe this really happened.

I was wasting my time for so long before.

I only had one particular week in autumn 2011 where I could fit the course within my busy schedule and CarCaptain was able to get me lessons and the test exactly when I wanted – this was really impressive. I can’t praise Chris enough for helping me out to get on with driving. Not only he helped me to achieve the test standard so quickly but also I really started enjoying driving which helped enormously in building the confidence. Chris immediately understood what I needed, he was so patient and so calm.  He taught me in a very structured way with a perfect  balance of theory and practice. Before taking an intensive course I was worried that having several hours of driving per day would be really tiring as was my experience with my previous instructor. However, with Chris I could drive for several hours and still be able to keep learning – I was really amazed how well it worked. He is a great instructor with enormous experience and you will feel this immediately when you start driving with him. So my advice to learners and in particular to those lacking confidence and being a bit too much nervous – do not waste time and money on weekly lessons for months, sign up for an intensive course with an experienced instructor such as Chris and drive outside Central London. If you are pressed for time CarCaptain can accommodate you very nicely! Chris – big big thanks to you and the rest of the team at CarCaptain! Please keep on with the great job you are doing!
